Miss Bullette Leads Copper Top Futurity (Fillies Division) Qualifiers
RSS Feeds Wednesday, March 30, 2011

Sent to post as the 7-5 favorite while making her career debut, Miss Bullette won the first of four Copper Top Futurity (R)--fillies division trials at Sunland Park on Tuesday.

Miss Bullette is a homebred dark bay daughter of the Hennessy stallion Roll Hennessy Roll racing for Bobby Yates, Davis Moore, and trainer Todd Fincher. Ridden by Miguel Hernandez, Miss Bullette went 4 ½ furlongs in :51.87, and her margin of victory was 4 ¾ lengths from Ms Valid Kisses.

Also, Gaylon McGee's Bev's Fast Lane made her career debut with a wire-to-wire, four-length victory in the fourth heat. A gray or roan daughter of Devon Lane, Bev's Fast Lane was purchased for $7,500 at last year's New Mexico-Bred Yearling Sale at Ruidoso Downs.
