New Mexico-Bred Sale Catalog Now Available Online

The catalog for the August 16-17 New Mexico-Bred Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse Sale at Ruidoso Downs is now available online.

This year's New Mexico-Bred Sale will feature 382 state-bred Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse yearlings. Quarter Horse yearlings Hip #1 through 226 will sell on Friday, August 16, followed by Thoroughbred yearlings Hip #227 through 382 the following day. Each day, the sale will begin following the conclusion of the day's live racing program at Ruidoso Downs Racetrack.

The top three finishers in the June 15, $357,030 Mountain Top Quarter Horse Futurity (R) at Ruidoso Downs were 2012 sale graduates. The winner, Kristopher R. Cordova's Heza Wild Dragon, sold for $15,000, while runner-up Threedeewoodee and third-place Kaydns Krusader were purchased for $39,000 and $17,000, respectively.
