NMHBA Stallion Service Auction Features 10 Stallions

The New Mexico Horse Breeders’ Association will conduct a stallion service auction featuring 10 stallions -- five Thoroughbred and five Quarter Horse -- before each day of the New Mexico-Bred Sale at Ruidoso Downs, August 19-20.

Breedings to the five Quarter Horse stallions will be auctioned off before the Quarter Horse portion of the sale on August 19. The Quarter Horse stallions, listed with their minimum bids, are: First Moonflash ($8,000), Jess A Chicks ($1,200), Reagal Eagle ($1,700), Teller Cartel ($2,000), and Winners Version ($1,700).

The five Thoroughbred stalllions will be auctioned off prior to the Thoroughbred portion of the sale on August 20. The Thoroughbred stallions, listed with their minimum bids, are: Attila’s Storm ($2,500), Indian Firewater ($2,000), Laugh Track ($1,500), Quinton’s Gold ($3,000), and Roll Hennessy Roll ($2,500).

The buyers of all breedings will be responsible for all other expenses associated with the breeding. There are no guarantees.
