The homebred gelding has earned $41,248 from two wins in seven outs, and his stakes resume to date includes a second-place finishes to WR Aces Fame in the 350-yard, $172,100 New Mexico Breeders’ Futurity (RG2) at SunRay Park on May 30.

RGR Lyon A Tac’s sire, Stormin’ Lyon (TB), is a 9-year-old son of the Storm Cat stallion Storm Boot who raced from 2003-05 and whose five wins in 13 starts included the 2004 Harry Henson Stakes at Sunland Park and the ’05 Bullet Stakes (R) at Hollywood Park in a turf-course record :55.62 for 5 furlongs.
