RSS Feeds Friday, April 21, 2017
Woodacouldadid, an upset stakes winner in her most recent out, is one of seven New Mexico-bred fillies and mares entered in Monday’s 6 1/2-furlong, $40,000 Russell and Helen Foutz Distaff Handicap (R) at SunRay Park.

A homebred 6-year-old daughter of Minister Eric owned by Terrine Ransier of Deming, New Mexico, Woodacouldadid will be stretching out in distance off of her half-length victory at odds of 34-1 in the 5 1/2-furlong, $100,000 La Coneja Stakes (R) at Sunland Park on March 26. The mare has won two of her four starts and has earned $83,000 since the beginning of the 2016 season.
Woodacouldadid is trained by Jose R. Gonzalez Jr. The mare drew post 5 and will be ridden by Tracy Hebert.

Other contenders include Brian Mundell’s My Bikini Fell Off, a three-time stakes winner trained by Bart Hone. A homebred 6-year-old Elusive Jazz mare, My Bikini Fell Off is coming off of a Sunland Park campaign during which she won two of four starts, including the 1-mile, $85,000 Peppers Pride Handicap (R) on February 19.

My Bikini Fell Off drew post 2 and will be ridden by Alfredo Juarez Jr.
