Tenth-fastest qualifier Mr Piloto outran his 22-1 odds to win Monday’s Grade 1, $1.9-million All American Futurity in front of 21,402 fans at Ruidoso Downs. Saddled by Felipe Quintero for Tremor Enterprises LLC, Mr Piloto covered 440 yards in :21.553 while defeating fastest qualifier and 2-1 favorite JLS Mr Bigtime. The $1-million winner’s share of the purse increased the sorrel colt’s earnings to $1,002,240, making him Quarter Horse racing’s 58th millionaire.
